Getting Started with Universal Production Music - Creating Your Account

Using production music in your project and don’t have a Killer Tracks (now Universal Production Music) account and password yet?  You will need to set up an individual account and password to be able to download the music tracks.  Don’t worry, there’s no cost to you. That’s already covered by Goldstein Library.

To set up your individual account and request a password:

1.  Go to the Library’s website where we list our music and sound effects databases on the “A-Z Resources” page:

https://ringling.libguides.com/universal

2.  Click on Killer Tracks (now Universal Production Music) and read and accept the usage guidelines.

3. If you are setting up a new account click on "Login/Register" on the top of the page. Then, click "Register Here" and fill out the form. Remember to use your Ringling email address, as well as Ringling College as your company.

4. You will receive an email from UPM that will ask you to confirm your email. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL WITH UNIVERSAL PRODUCTION MUSIC. By confirming your email, you will be upgraded from a trial account to a full access account to the resource.

If you need assistance, call Goldstein Library at (941) 359-7587 or email research@ringling.edu.
