Killer Tracks is copyrighted music provided under license agreement to Ringling College of Art and Design faculty, staff, and students. You are entitled to use Killer Tracks selections as synchronized background music in various types of audio-visual media productions. The rights conveyed by this agreement exist in perpetuity for productions made during the term of this agreement.
You will be prompted to agree to the Usage Guidelines each time you access Killer Tracks. Please be sure to read the full usage guidelines, which are fairly short, before using Killer Tracks.
Using production music in your project and don’t have a Killer Tracks account and password yet? You will need to set up an individual account and password with Killer Tracks to be able to download the music tracks. Don’t worry, there’s no cost to you. That’s already covered by Goldstein Library.
Set up your account and password now while you have plenty of time. It can take 24 hours on a weekday for Killer Tracks to confirm your account and they do not process password requests on weekends.
To set up your individual account and request a password:
1. Go to the Library’s website where we list our music and sound effects databases on the "A-Z Resources” page: http://ringling.libguides.com/az.php
3. Navigate to "Create an Account" on the Killer Tracks page. Under "I'm Already a Killer Tracks Client!" click "Request Download Access". Fill out the form with the required information. Remember to use your Ringling email address.
