About This Guide

Welcome to the Library Resource Guide to support the Center of Diversity and Inclusion!

Ringling College of Art and Design is committed to developing holistic, ethical artists and equity-minded practitioners. The Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI), opened in August 2019, embodies this commitment by promoting diversity and inclusion among students, faculty, and staff. Students at Ringling engage with all dimensions of diversity through creativity, cultural awareness, and open dialogue, driving transformational change. The CDI empowers students to create positive cultural impact both on campus and in broader community contexts, celebrating diversity and fostering inclusion throughout.

In this guide you'll find materials from the Alfred R. Goldstein Library that focus on diversity for Ringling College.

Schedule a Research Consultation

Goldstein Library provides research consultations with Research Librarians who are interested in your topic and excited to help you research! We are prepared to help you find the information you need to be successful! Our specialization is helping artists and designers find the materials that they need for reference and research (images, books, journal articles, websites, videos, and more); helping you understand how you can use what you find ethically; and how to cite your sources.
