Teaching and Learning Lab (TALL)

Readings and resources related to the Teaching and Learning Lab faculty workshop series.

Introduction

For this session, we will be discussing the fundamentals of lesson planning and "backward design." According to Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe, backward design is three-part process: (1) identify desired results, (2) determine acceptable evidence, and (3) plan learning experiences and instruction. Join us to learn more about what backward design entails and how you can apply it to your own courses.
