This session will focus on primary source literacy and how to get students to engage with primary sources. Using the "Guidelines for Primary Source Literacy" (2018) as a framework, we will explore different approaches that can help students identify, understand, and use primary sources in their work. Examples of primary sources from the Ringling College Archives will be introduced to give participants an idea of our holdings and how these materials can be incorporated into your classes.
